Investigation of Microbial Community Composition and AMR in DWDS
The relationship between the environment, human, animal, plant biology, and man-made systems is quite complicated. The most important motivation for steering the world of science today is, the understanding of the functional and structural basis of the microbial system functions of which is the key role in various habitats.
Area of Interest
1. Who is there?
2. What are the stress factors of the aquatic habitat that can create selective pressure on microorganisms?
3. What is the effect of stress conditions on physiological status? How environmental stressors influencing the development and spread of antibiotic resistance?
4. What is the phenotypic resistance status of Opportunistic Pathogens? What is the amount of resistance genes in the aquatic environment?
5. How shifts in stagnant water can affect water quality?
Impact of the project results is the constitution of principles which have foreseeable practical applications along with the “One Health” approach. It is thought that the integrated systems understanding of microbiomes by using new techniques will be important contributions to the basic microbiology.
